Language services to the insurance industry

Challenge

Lexxika, a global translations provider to the assistance and insurance industry contacted us to professionalise and streamline their accounts function. 

Lexxika engage the services of many small businesses and freelancers and needed support to ensure suppliers were paid in accordance with their payment terms. Given the scale of their operation, the team historically struggled to meet the demands of this task and felt their communication and relationship with suppliers was suffering as a result. On top of that, their clients are multinational corporates, who have high expectations and can occasionally be quite demanding.

Lexxika’s business has grown and expanded globally, and as a result, it became very complex. The in-house team was creaking at the seams, in terms of both their availability, and their technical knowledge.

Solution

We began our relationship with Lexxika by spending some time on site with the team to really get to know their business. As a 24/7 global operation it was important for us to fully understand their service offering and witness first hand some of the challenges they faced. Given the high volume of invoices, suppliers and queries that were being received it was clear that they needed a hands-on accounts service. We understood the importance in establishing relationships with their global insurance partners as well as suppliers, and worked with the team to find a solution that improved communication and consistency for everyone.

Outcomes: 

  • Became first port of call for all accounts queries to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Took over responsibility of Lexxika main accounts@ inbox, drastically improving response times, and outcomes.
  • Created processes to ensure the individual needs of small businesses and freelancers were being met and built relationships with these parties to improve overall communication. 
  • We work closely with the CEO as a true business partner, providing them with insights into their finances and helping them to improve relations with their business banking partner. 
  • We provide regular management information, and keep a close eye on client interactions, sales and profitability trends and even provide forecasting information.
  • We have also reduced aged debt for the business considerably.
